Making the Pizza

•    Get your pizza sauces and pizza toppings. Remember there is no limit to the number of toppings you can use. There are different kinds of pizza with different toppings as we all know. The breakfast pizza, veggie pizza, taco pizza and the BLT pizza.

•    Heating the oven- once again, there is no limit to the amount of heat needed to make a pizza. The hotter the oven the better the pizza turns out. Although normal home oven recommends a temperature between 450 to 500F (250c to 260c).

•    Place the cordierite pizza stone in the oven and heat it with the same recommended degree 450 to 500 degree F. remember the crust needs to be cooked before the toppings burn.

•    Make the pizza dough and position it on a covering sprinkled with a little cornmeal so that it does not get attached. You can casually cover the crust with little olive oil if you prefer that. This aids in creating a golden brown crust instead of a dry dusty outside.

•    After about 5 minutes of baking, check the pizza in the oven. Even though it is quite unlikely for a cordierite pizza stone if some parts are browning faster than other parts you can rotate the pizza.
